Our aromatherapy room mists are a lovely way to quickly refresh your space and add a little moment of calm, comfort or uplift to your day.

The following tips will help you get the best out of your Wye Wicks product.
01.
Spray with care
​
Our room mists contain flammable liquid and essential oils, so always use them away from naked flames, candles, heat sources and other sources of ignition.
​
Do not spray onto or close to burning candles, fires or hot surfaces, and avoid using the mist near electrical equipment.

02.
Shake then spritz
​
Give your bottle a good shake before each use to help disperse the natural ingredients evenly.
Store your mist upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
For best results, we recommend using your mist within 12 months of purchase. ​​
03.
Mist into the air
​
Spray towards the centre of the room and allow the fine mist to gently disperse and settle.
​
Our mists are designed for use in the air, so avoid spraying directly onto furniture, soft furnishings, fabrics, painted or polished surfaces, plastics, leather or flooring.
​
Take particular care around wooden or tiled floors, as droplets settling onto the surface may cause marks or make the floor slippery.
04.
Give your room a little air
​
Use your room mist in a reasonably well-ventilated space and avoid excessive spraying in small or enclosed rooms.
​
A few spritzes is usually all you need. You can always add a little more fragrance if you want to once the fragrance has settled.

05.
Keep clear of people and pets
​
Our room mists are designed to fragrance the air and should not be sprayed directly onto people or animals. ​​
​
Avoid spraying towards the face and keep the mist away from eyes, skin, fur and feathers. Do not inhale directly from the bottle or spray nozzle and never ingest the product.
​
If the mist comes into contact with skin, wash the area with soap and water. If it gets into the eyes, rinse carefully with clean water. If irritation occurs, seek appropriate medical advice.

If you are concerned about accidential exposure involving a pet, seek appropriate veterinary advice. ​​
06.
Keep out of reach
​
Always store your mist securely and out of reach of children and pets.
After spraying, allow the mist to disperse naturally before allowing pets or young children into the sprayed area.
07.
Natural variation is normal
​
As our mists are made with natural essential oils, you may notice some variation in colour or clarity between blends over time.
​
Changes in temperature and the natural characteristics of the oils can occcassionally cause the liquid to appear slightly cloudy or develop some natural seperation.
​
This is perfectly normal. Simply give the bottle a good shake before use.

08.
A gentle fragrance boost
​
Our room mists are designed to fragrance your space gently rather than overpower it.
​
How long fragrance lingers will depend on the essential oil blend, the number of sprays used, the size and temperature of your room, ventilation and airflow.
​
You may notice the fragrance for up to three hours, although this will naturally vary from room to room and blend to blend. ​

If a spill happens
​
If room mist is accidentially spilt, wipe it up promptly and avoid leaving the liquid in contact with painted, polished, plastic, leather or delicate surfaces.
​
Wash your hands after handling spills and keep the area clear of naked flames or other sources of ignition until it is completely dry.
10.
Time to say goodbye
​
Once your room mist is finished, the bottle can be cleaned and repurposed or recycled where appropriate.
​
When the bottle is completely empty, wash it carefully in warm, soapy water and allow it to dry thoroughly.

PLease check your local recycling guide, as accepted materials can vary. ​
11.
Aluminium to amber glass
​
We are curerntly transitioning from aluminium bottles to amber glass bottles. ​
​
As stocks of our original aluminium bottles sell through, they will be replaced by our new amber glass bottles.

Wye Wicks was founded after our daughter experienced severe allergic reactions while we were using conventional fragranced candles at home. It prompted us to look more closely at the products we were using and ultimately led us towards creating our own range of natural home fragrance.

We deliberately avoid synthetic fragrance oils and choose ingredients thoughtfully, with a focus on creating beautifully scented products using pure, unadulterated essential oils.
