Bergamot (Citrus Bergamia)
Extracted from the hybrid between a lemon and a sour orange, bergamot oil has roots in both Italian folk medicine and Southeast Asia where it is famously used as the primary ingredient in Earl Grey tea. Like other citrus oils, Bergamot oil is known to be energising and uplifting, helping to boost low moods and reduce symptoms of anxiety. It is recognised for its balancing effect, cancelling out disproportionate emotions and helping us feel content and emotionally stable. Cold pressed from the peel, Bergamot has a delicate, subtle fragrance.
Sweet Orange (Citrus Aurantium) Essential Oil
Associated with prosperity and positivity, oranges have been used medicinally for hundreds of years. Able to lift spirits and relieve anxiety, orange oil brings joy and is considered a brightening, bettering oil that contributes to overall wellness. Like other citrus oils, orange oil has antibacterial qualities. It is extracted via cold pressing from the peel of the orange fruit.
Ylang Ylang (Cananga Odorata)
Rich, floral, and exotic, ylang ylang essential oil is revered for its mood-boosting and brightening qualities. Known for its immune-boosting properties, it also soothes and reassures by influencing processes in the hippocampus area of the brain and in the serotonin system, which points to an anti-anxiety effect. Traditionally ylang ylang has been used to help release negative emotions, promote positivity and support sleep.
The oils are hand-blended in our studio before being added to sustainably sourced soy wax, infused, and then hand-poured in small batches to ensure quality. Topped with dried botanicals and presented in a kraft presentation box, the essential oils in our melts will gently scent your space and give you a well-being boost for up to 4-6 hours.
