Our diffusers contain flamable liquid and natural essential oils - so please never light the reeds or flower boquets. 

Diffusers work by drawing the oil up through the reed, where it gently evaporates and releases the scent, which is then dispersed as the air circulates.  To get the best out of your diffuser, we recommend positioning it in high-traffic areas where there is good airflow, such as a hallway or near a window, as this will help distribute the scent.  It is best to avoid placing your diffuser in direct sunlight, near open doors or windows, in corners or in cluttered or enclosed spaces, which can all hinder scent dispersal.

Place your diffuser away from open flames, heat sources and soft furnishings.  

To avoid possible damage from any accidental spills, don't place your diffuser directly on polished, painted, plastic or leather surfaces, or near electrical items. 

Turn your reeds once a week to refresh the fragrance and give your space a scent and wellbeing boost.  We recommend using gloves to avoid getting the oil on your skin. 

Over time, natural reeds can become clogged by dust, debris or saturation.  If this happens, you can find replacement reeds and flower bouquets on our website.  

If you're not using your diffuser straight away, keep it in a cool, dry place.  For best results, we recommend using it within 12 months of purchase.  Depending on the scent and with a little TLC, our diffusers will last from 3 - 6 months.  

Our vessels are designed to be repurposed.  Once used, the vessel can be washed using gloves in warm, soapy water and repurposed or recycled.

Wye Wicks began as a personal journey after our daughter experienced severe allergic reactions to the harsh chemicals found in some mass-produced candles.  That experience led us to explore a gentler, more natural path - and it's one we've stayed true to ever since.

Unlike synthetic fragrance oils, which can contain unwanted additives like parabens and phthalates, essential oils are completely natural.  We believe what you breathe matters - and just like paraffin wax fumes, synthetic nasties have no place in a healthy home.  That's why we keep our ingredients simple, safe and kind - for you and your home.

Although the essential oils used in our products are highly diluted, some people and animals may be sensitive.  Always check suitability before use, and if in doubt, seek appropriate medical or veterinary advice.
